Do I need to be fit to ride an e-bike?⌄
No. You still pedal — the motor multiplies your effort. Turn the assist up on a gentle rise, down if you want more exercise. Mixed fitness groups stay together, which is why most guests love them. The 90-minute Scenic Tour is designed for first-timers.
Are helmets provided? Is it compulsory?⌄
Helmets are included with every hire and tour. In Victoria it is compulsory to wear a helmet on a bicycle, including e-bikes. We fit them properly before you leave.
Can children ride? Do you have child seats?⌄
Child seats for toddlers (about 10 months to 4 years, up to 22 kg) attach to Cruiser e-bikes for $15.50 extra. Older children who ride confidently can hire their own bike. Tell us ages when you book and we’ll advise.
What happens if it rains?⌄
Light rain is usually fine. If the weather is unsuitable — heavy rain, strong wind, storms — we contact you to reschedule or refund. We watch the BOM Echuca forecast and put safety first.
Do you deliver to accommodation?⌄
Yes. Free delivery to most accommodation in Echuca and Moama, minimum half-day hire, subject to availability. Or collect from Murray Esplanade near the Port of Echuca Discovery Centre / Wharf, where the trailer is often parked.
I’ve never ridden an e-bike. Is that okay?⌄
Most of our guests are first-timers. David or Suzanna give a clear briefing, show the assist levels, and make sure the bike is fitted. Within a few minutes you’ll feel comfortable. Guided tours are especially good for a first ride.
Is there an age or weight limit?⌄
Riders need to balance and control a bicycle. We generally recommend 12+ for independent riding; confident younger riders are fine. Typical weight limit is around 120–130 kg depending on the bike. Ask if you have specific concerns.
How does booking and payment work?⌄
Book and pay online with a card through our Rezdy checkout — live availability, email and SMS confirmation. Groups of 6+ request a quote and David confirms; organisations can pay by invoice. You can still call 0490 048 239.
What should I bring?⌄
Closed shoes, a water bottle (holders on the bikes), sunscreen, a hat, and a light jacket if it’s cool. Phone for photos. We supply helmet, lock and map.
Can you do private or group bookings?⌄
Yes. Private tours from $75. Groups of 6–24 can split into two rides. Build a group quote on the Groups page, or call David.
Where do tours start?⌄
Murray Esplanade near the Wharf and the Port of Echuca Discovery Centre. You’ll get exact meeting notes when David confirms.
Cancellation?⌄
Full refund with 48+ hours notice. Within 48 hours a credit or voucher may apply. Weather cancellations are refunded or rescheduled in full.
